[9] Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark, ‘Souvenir’

Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark

As the wistfully melancholic synth refrain chimed in, Junior rushed over and gave me a hug. That’s what OMD can do.

  1. First time that a comment is longer than the post itself? It’s further evidence that this year should be dropped. Do we ever get any Public Image Limited? They were a good acronym band. I mean, “Orchestral Maneouvres”? It’s a bit croom.

  2. Stop slagging off 1981, man. Anyway – it’s nice to mix up the entry length. So to speak. The essays probably need to be pepped up a bit.

PIL have featured in a good couple of charts, but I don’t like ‘Flowers Of Romance’ enough for them to sneak in here. That’s a spoiler then.
